==== ImageMagick on X ==== The quickest way to get ImageMagick running on OS X for Greenstone.

  1. open .dmg
  2. install package
  3. open term
  4. type sudo bash
  5. edit /etc/profile to include /usr/local/bin in the path (you will have to use and editor in term - try vi or emacs) so it looks something like this PATH="/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin"
  6. save and exit
  7. Restart the GLI in a new term window.

No more 'imagemagick not installed' complaints!

Happy image collection building.

PS your /etc/profile should have these two lines:

export PATH
